NGC 2281 (Melotte 51) is a trumpler (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trumpler_classification) class I 2 p open cluster located approximately 1,630 light-years away in in Auriga. At magnitude 5.4, this can be a naked-eye visual object under dark skies.
