This image shows the journey of the moon from its Apogee (31st October 2020) to its closest approach towards Earth (26th May 2021). All the full moons that has appeared in this phase (8 in total) varies in size with their size growing with every full moon. The supermoon at Perigee (26th May 2021) is almost 15% bigger than the micromoon at Apogee (31st October 2020).
Each moon image is a stack of 225 images (best 75% of 300 images) taken from the same location with the same equipment at same focal length (600mm).
