NGC 3901

NGC 3901 (MCG-04-24-013, PGC 29128, ESO 499-36 and others) is designated as a barred Magellanic (irregular) galaxy located approximately 4.3 million light-years away in Hydra.

Luminance – 4x600s – 40 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 4:14:10x600s – 40:140:100 minutes each – binned 1x1

320 minutes total exposure – 5 hours 20 minutes

Imaged April 6th and 29th and May 4th, 2021 at the El Sauce Observatory (Rio Hurtado, Chile) with a FLI PL 9000 on a PlaneWave CDK24 at f/6.5 3974 mm.
