NGC 3430 + 3424

NGC 3430 (IC 2613, UGC 5982, PGC 32614 and others) at the center is a barred spiral galaxy located approximately 98.5 million light-years away in Leo Minor.

NGC 3424 (UGC 5972, PGC 32584 and others) is the somewhat edge-on galaxy below and to the right of NGC 3430.

Luminance – 24x600s – 240 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 10x300s – 50 minutes each – binned 2x2

390 minutes total exposure – 6 hours 30 minutes

Imaged April 10th, 112th, 13th and 29th, 2021 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
