Sharpless 239 (LBN 821 and others) is defined as a HII region but appears to be reflection nebulae (and Herbig-Haro objects - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herbig%E2%80%93Haro_object) located within LDN 1551. These are located less than two degrees from Aldebaran in Taurus. A paper from 1976 (http://articles.adsabs.harvard.edu/pdf/1976ApJ...206..443K) determines this one to be approximately 456 light-years away.
