Sharpless 135 (LBN 492 and 493) is a faint HII region located approximately 6,200 light-years away in Cepheus. The small cluster of bright stars below the bright region is Juchert 21.
Ha – 25x1800s – 750 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2
870 minutes total exposure – 14 hours 30 minutes
Imaged over seven nights in November and December, 2020 at Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
