Arp 262 (UGC 12856, VV 255 and 255a/b and others) is really two irregular galaxies interacting. Arp has this one in his ‘Galaxies not classifiable as S or E – Irregular Clumps.’ Both of the galaxies are located approximately 85.8 million light-years away (https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1086/502628/pdf) in the Great Square of Pegasus.

360 minutes total exposure – 6 hours
Imaged October 30th and 31st, 2019 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
