vdB 4 + NGC 225

van den Bergh 4 (BD+61 154, HIP 3401 and others) is the star and reflection nebula near the top center of the image. The dark nebula bordering it to the left is LDN 1302.

NCG 225 (the sailboat cluster) is a trumpler (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trumpler_classification) class III 1 p open cluster located approximately 2,201 light-years away in Cassiopeia.

Luminance – 24x600s – 240 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2

360 minutes total exposure – 6 hours

Imaged September 24th and 26th and October 9th, 2020 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
