Messier 33, or the Triangulum galaxy, is the third largest galaxy in the Local Group, following the Andromeda and the Milky Way. M33 is located 2.7 light-years far away from us and can be seen with a simple telescope under the night sky. Although it has the magnitude of 5.7, its apparent size is even larger than the Moon and consequently, it does not seem to be such a bright object.
