Martian Lighthouse

Yes, that is Martian light being reflected onto Blue Lake, a secluded alpine lake in Modoc County, California. We had scouted the shooting location earlier that day, and drove up again, after midnigh, with a group of five astrophotographers, hoping our numbers would scare off any nocturnal feeding bears. Our primary concern was that the winds would remain calm, and the skies cloudless and clear. After a short hike, we set up and shot for 40 minutes, when the winds decided to start up again.
