DG 113 (LBN 1022 and others) is a reflection nebula illuminated by BD-07 1642 (HIP 33420 and others) a magnitude 6.3 V star in Monoceros. This object is located approximately a degree from M50. The Dorschner and Gurtler Catalog was developed through an investigation of reflection nebulae on the Palomar Sky Survey. Imaged over six nights in November and December, 2019 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
