Sharpless 203 (LBN 685 and others) is a very faint nebula located approximately 5,800 light-years away in Perseus. Lynds’ classification on brightness is from 1 (brightest) to 6 (barely detectable) – this one is a 6.

Ha – 35x1800s – 1050 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2

1170 minutes total exposure – 19 hours 30 minutes

Imaged from Dardenne Prairie, Missouri (a red zone) over seven nights in 2017 and 2018 with a SBIG ST-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT90DT at f/6.7 603mm.

I also took several hours of luminance but nothing showed up.
