Barnard 40 (LDN 1721 and others) is the dark nebula at the top left.
This whole area is part of the larger IC 4592 nebula complex located in Scorpius.

RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2
360 minutes total exposure – 6 hours
Imaged April 14th and 15th, 2018 and May 3rd, 2019 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG ST-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT90DT at f/6.7 603mm.
