van den Bergh 48 (HD 37370 and many others) is the star and faint blue reflection nebula at the center of the image. Parts of the cloud further out are designated as DG 65. vdB 48 is located approximately 2 degrees above Alnitak in Orion.

Luminance – 33x600s – 330 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2

450 minutes total exposure – 7 hours 30 minutes

Imaged November 5th, 6th, 7th and 13th, 2018 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
