Sharpless 92 (LBN 145) is a faint emission nebula located approximately 12,068 light-years away in Vulpecula. It is ionized by Wolf-Rayet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolf%E2%80%93Rayet_star) star WR 127 (HD 186943, HIP 97281 and others) which is just to the right of the center of the image.
Ha – 30x1800s – 900 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2
1020 minutes total exposure – 17 hours
Imaged over six nights and June and July, 2018 at Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
