Arp 154 (NGC 1316, Fornax A and others) is a lenticular galaxy possibly interacting with spiral NGC 1317 (Fornax B and others). It is located approximately 57 million light-years away in Fornax. Halton Arp added this one to his Disturbed with Interior Absorption class.

RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2
300 minutes total exposure – 5 hours
Imaged October 14th, 15th and 16th, 2017 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG ST-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT90EDT at f/6.7 603mm.
