van den Bergh 24 (V* XY Per, HD 275877 and others) is the star and reflection nebula at the center of the image. The area is surrounded by dark nebulae including LDN 1442 on the left (east).
Luminance – 18x600s – 180 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2
300 minutes total exposure – 5 hours
Imaged from Dardenne Prairie, Missouri (a red zone) on November 20th and 29th, 2016 with a SBIG ST-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT90EDT at f/6.7 603mm.
