M77 (Arp 37, NGC 1068, UGC 2188 and many others) is a barred spiral galaxy located approximately 47 million light-years away in Cetus. Arp classified this one as Spiral Galaxies – Companions on Arms – Low Surface Brightness Companions. Your guess is as good as mine.
