NGC 5053 near the bottom left is a Shapley-Sawyer class XI (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shapley%E2%80%93Sawyer_Concentration_Class) globular cluster located approximately 57,000 light-years away in Coma Berenices.
The line at the center left edge is asteroid 130 Elektra.
