Arp 116 consists of M60 (NGC 4649, UGC 7898, VV 206a and others), a large elliptical and NGC 4647 (UGC 7896, VV 206b and others), a face-on spiral. While these appear to be close, M60 is approximately 56 million light-years away and NGC 4647 is approximately 53 million. The galaxies at the bottom right are NGC 4637 and 4638 (left to right).
