IC 426 (Ced 55, DG 61 and LBN 921) is the odd-shaped nebula located about one degree above the bright star Alnilam (the center belt star) in Orion. Some of the other smaller ones around it are also cataloged (DG 62, DG 63 and DG 65 from right to left).

RGB – 12:12:10x300s – 60:60:50 minutes each – binned 2x2
470 minutes total exposure – 7 hours 50 minutes
Imaged January 29th, 30th and February 1st, 2017 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
