The Whirlpool Galaxy (M51) - a galactic entanglement

Messier 51, The Whirlpool Galaxy is actually a pair of interconnected galaxies engaged in a cosmic dance around each other. This photo has an integration time of almost 8 hours and was shot from my usual spot, the moderately light polluted site in the country side.
