M106 is a Spiral Galaxy in Canes Venatici at a distance of about 22 to 25 million light-years away. Imaged on March 26 thru 31 and April 1, 2016. Had to dodge the Moon and clouds in Southern Arizona. Image consists of 20 Luminance, 16 Red, 14 Green and 12 Blue at 10 minutes each exposure. Images are at F7 with a Celestron 11" EdgeHd scope on an AP900 mount. A QSI 683wsg camera with 5 position filter wheel was used with camera at -20 degrees Centigrade. A Baader Vario F4.1 guide scope with a SBIG ST-I monochrome camera was used to guide the mount.
