NGC 5845 + NGC 5846 + NGC 5850

NGC 5845 (UGC 9700 and others) is the elliptical at the right.

NGC 5846 (UGC 9706 and others) is the large elliptical at the center.

NGC 5850 (UGC 9715 and others) is the barred spiral at the left.

All of these galaxies in Virgo were discovered by William Herschel on February 24th, 1786.

Luminance – 25x600s – 250 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2

370 minutes total exposure – 6 hours 10 minutes

Imaged April 9th, 13th and 14th, 2016 from Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
