Messier 63 (also known as M63, NGC 5055, or the Sunflower Galaxy) is a spiral galaxy in the constellation Canes Venatici consisting of a central disc surrounded by many short spiral arm segments. Distance- 37MLY from earth.
This image of the Sunflower galaxy I took last spring in three imaging sessions, the first night session I imaged with LUM filter, the second I imaged with RBG filters, the third session I imaged with HA filter.

Darks, Bias, Flats added and combined for all light images.
