Was actually watching some fireworks (as the people on the balcony are) when a stranger tapped me on the shoulder and pointed out the moon coming up between two buildings. I exposed for the very bright moon and pretty well lost the buildings to the darkness (it was just after 10pm here in Vancouver) I kept shooting and when I finally previewed my pictures, I was very excited by what I saw!
