IC 4604 is a large, blue reflection nebula located in Ophiuchus. The nebula is illuminated by Rho Ophiuchi, the triple star at the top center of this image. This object is part of the Astronomy League Bright Nebulae Program.

IC 4603 is another large, blue reflection nebula located in Ophiuchus. The nebula is illuminated by HIP 80462 (vdB 105) at the bottom center of this image.

I initially posted these as single images but I’ve since combined them into a mosaic. Each panel consists of:

Luminance – 12x600s – 120 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2

240 minutes total exposure – 4 hours

Total exposure – 8 hours

Imaged March 28th and May 11th and May 21st, 2015 at the Danville Conservation Area (New Florence, Missouri) with a SBIG ST-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT90EDT at f/6.7 603mm.
