IC 356, a small beauty behind the dust

IC 356 is a small spiral galaxy in the neighborhood of the well known IC 342. H.C. Arp listed it as Arp 213 in his catalog of peculair galaxies.
The galaxy has a reddish color caused by the dust in the foreground.

Location: Gahberg observatory, Upper Austria
Telescopes: Lacerta Newtonian 10" f/4 for Luminance, Newtonian 5" f/5 for RGB - captured simultaneosly
Mount: ASA DDM 60 pro
Camera: Sbig ST2000XM for Lumiance, SXV-H9 for RGB
Filters: Baader LRGB
Exposure: Luminance 34x10 minutes, RGB 12x10 minutes each
Processing: CCD Stack, PS CS2
Date: 2014-01-07 + 2014-09-27
