This is an image of the "Super" moon of September 2014 one day before full. Ten exposures, taken with a Canon 50D, 1/1000 sec, ISO 100, through a Takahashi FSQ106, were stacked in MaximDL and color enhanced in Photoshop to reveal the subtle coloration of the moon.
