Mars a seen through Nexstar 8SE (SCT) and Pentax 14mm XL eyepiece. Mars is a difficult subject. It took over an hours to detect even the slightest colorations. The stripes on the right and the subtle darkening on the left. Visibility was average maybe magniture 5.
