Image by Mike Borman of Evansville, Indiana. Took images of the Sun on Thanksgiving Day (11/28/13) in h-alpha, white light, and CaK. At the time of comet ISON's perihelion, I offset from the Sun to the comet's position, and removed the solar filter. Unfortunately the camera saw nothing there. I don't feel bad though, because the Solar Dynamics Observatory did not see it either. Image taken with a Televue 102iis refractor, Coronado SM90 BF30 h-alpha filter, on a Celestron CGE Pro mount.
