The Milky Way Galaxy captured over the Atlantic Ocean at Emerald Isle Beach, NC, USA. I used my Nikon D5000 with an 18-55 mm lens set at 18mm. The exposure was 30 seconds @ f3.5 with an ISO of 1250. The yellowish surf was created by the sodium vapor lights on the houses behind me.
