The cold clouds gave me a break at the last second so that I could make some exposures of Comet, Pan-STARRS and the Moon in conjunction. It was March 12, 2013 just after 8:00 O'Clock CST and I first saw the Moon and scrambled for a few moments to see Comet Pan-Starrs and was able to capture them both within the same field.

My exposure was 1/4 second at f4.1 and my ISO choice was 1000 the lens used was a Baader Vario finder 61 x 250 mm and the camera was a Cannon 60Da. camera on tripod (in the wind).

Please feel free to use my image!

A wondrous sight!
