Annular Eclipse of May 20, 2012

Location: Redding, CA, USA.

Equipment: Celestron Super C8 Plus with Byers fork mount with f/6.3 focal reducer-corrector. Canon 20D DSLR. Thousand Oaks Optical type 2 full aperture glass solar filter.

The majority of the annular eclipse as seen from Redding, CA. The sequence begins with the full solar disk, showing sunspots, before first contact and continues until the Sun was covered by clouds during the second half of egress. The middle 3 images of the middle row show second contact, mid eclipse, and third contact respectively.
