Mars has become shrouded in wide-spread equatorial clouds. In the center of the picture is the Tharsis region, containing three large volcanoes and Olympus Mons just to the NW. Two of the Tharsis volcanoes are capped with clouds (appearing as white dots,) while the peak of Olympus Mons appears to break out of the clouds, A thicker band spreads west across the Amazonis region.
