After reading Steven O'Meara's article about the strange rift formation off of Lubiniezky A, I was motivated to observing the region and making a sketch. I'm afraid that my little sketch cannot add much to the debate, but it was an interesting experience. My telescope is a Nexstar 5SE, I used a Burgess Binoviewer, 20mm matching eyepieces an optical corrector and 2X Barlow.
