The Heart NebulaIC 1805Sh2-190, lies some 7500 light-years from Earth and is located in the Perseus Arm of the Galaxy in the constellation Cassiopeia. This is an emission nebula showing glowing gas and darker dust lanes. The nebula is formed by plasma of ionized hydrogen and free electrons. Melotte 15 is featured along with the wall of the Heart Nebula. The image is at @f/7 and were taken with a TEC140ED APO oil spaced triplet refractor.  It is four hours of exposure in the narrowband Ha, Olll, and Sll filters using a QSI583wsg CCD camera.   The image uses a modified HST Palette applying a process outlined by Bob Franke.
