Sharpless 216 is the second closest planetary and very large in size. This field of view is 3 x 2 degrees. The nebula is very dim, barely visible even with a single 15 minute exposure. To obtain a color image, the H-Alpha data was mixed with the red and blue channels to create a new color image to be use. This was taken with an E-160 F/3.3 and the STL-6303 for 15 hours.
