Comet Garradd and PGC 67040

Location: Aguadilla, Puerto Rico

Equipment: LX200ACF 12 in. OTA, F6.3, CGE mount, ST2000xm Ccd, AO8, CFW9, Astronomik Ir filter. 2x2.7 min.

While Comet Garradd was getting close to the region of m15 (1deg.) it was passing very very close to the spiral Galaxy PGC 67040 (14.2 mag.). Another galaxy is seen at center and behind the comets tail trailing end (USN ID#).
