The International Space Station can be localized easily using differnet charts available on the internet (http://www.spaceweather.com/flybys/).

Saturday night at 21:33, local time in Montreal, the ISS shone at a magnitude of -4.0 in the WNW direction. It passed through the constellation Auriga left of Capella. I took this picture from my backyard.

  • Nikon D5000 on a tripod
  • ISO 1000
  • 24 mm @ f22
  • 15 seconds exposure
  • Photoshop CS3 for image processing and enhancement
