This is a sketch I made on May 9th from my backyard.
The details and the position of the moons were almost impossible to get using my NexImage webcam. Sketching was thus the best choice.
Although seing was average, I could see four moons around Saturn. To my surprise the dim Hyperion was also in sight. Titan, Rhea, Tethys and Dione were almost perfectly aligned. It was a pretty exciting evening at the telescope.
Observation:
- 130 mm (5'') Newtonian reflector;

- 2X and 3X barlow;
- motor drive
Sketch:
- Carson acid-free sketch paper;
- HB pencil
Post-processing:
- Photoshop CS3: B&W inversion, lightness and contrast, colors and text.
