The sun active regions 1193, 1195 and 1196 on April 22, 2011.
My first try at sketching. This sketch was done on acid-free Canson paper using HB and 2B pencils and blending stump. The sketch was then scan and open with GIMP 2 freeware. After inverting the image to obtain the black background seen with the telescope and BAADER solar filter, I ajusted levels and added the color.
