This is a hydrogen alpha image of the IC405 and IC410 area in Auriga, which includes the Flaming Star Nebula (on the left) and The Tadpoles (on the right). This 3.3-hour image (10x20min) was taken with an STL-11000M camera (and 5nm bandwidth Ha filter) through a Takahashi FSQ-106EDX refractor telescope on a Paramount ME mount, all inside a Sirius 2.3m dome. Unattended imaging using CCDAutoPilot was done in November 2010 at Sierra Skies Observatory in El Dorado Hills, California.
