This image shows me in the driest spot on Earth — the Atacama Desert in Chile. There are places here that haven't gotten rain in centuries, and it shows. Our group could see for miles around, but there was nothing to see except dirt and rocks. It was still spectacularly impressive, though. By the way, had I taken 2 steps back, I would have dropped about 500 feet.
