Pluto centered on Barnard 92

Evening of July 5, 2010, 11-12PM, near Jemez Springs, NM, USA at 8300 ft. Elevation.

Pluto passing through Barnard 92 Dark Nebula, with NGC 6603 and M24 in the background.  We followed this until moonrise.  Pluto is highlighted with an orange arrow.

Image take through a 10" F/4 Meade Schmidt Newtonian, on Losmandy G-11 Mount.  Cooled Canon 400D used with dark and flat frames applied.  Processed in Nebulosity, Photobrush, and Photofiltre.
