The Little Dumbbell (M76)

This is M76-Little Dumbbell, planetary nebula and 6 mag. star HIP8063. M76 is 3,400 ly away. 

This image is a 2hr and 50 min total exposure through a Meade LX200 8". The camera is a Canon 40D (ISO 800, 240secx 49,and Flats, Flat Darks, Bias, Darks subtacted), Hutech Mod with a clear filter insert. Auto guided with a Orion Star Shoot, with 0.5x FR and PhD Guiding software, through a Orion ED 80. Processed with ImagePlus v. 3.75, and Photoshop CS.
