Sharpless 2-155 region (including the Cave Nebula)

The area surrounding Sh2-155 is a beautiful and colorful nebula region in Cepheus containing reflection, emission and dark nebulae. The nebula is contained within the Caldwell observing list, but is quite faint; however, it is a fascinating photographic target. The Cave Nebula (Sh2-155) is contained within this region as is vdb155 (the blue reflection nebula surrounding the two brightish stars toward the top center). The image was taken with a Celestron C11 OTA equipped with a Hyperstar 3. A G11 mount was used. Images were acquired using a Canon 350D camera. 41-1 and 2 minute subs were taken. Many thanks to Dave, Steve and Kirbini-san for their assistance (this was my first run with the G11 mount).
