Astronomy and anything space related has been an interest of mine since childhood. One of the greatest thrills of my life was being at the Cape for the liftoff of Apollo 15. The day before I had the unexpected pleasure of meeting Apollo 14 lunar module pilot Edgar Mitchell. I was 18 years old at the time. What a couple of days!
I live in southern Wisconsin and built an observatory shortly after I retired in 2011. I decided to name it Meadowlark Ridge Observatory.
The cosmos has always fascinated me and I find it calming to gaze into the skies above.
