Exploring the universe with a 6 inch newtonian for the last 40 years and loving it. ( the 10 inch Newotnian is too heavy) BS in Physics and Computer Science from Carroll College WI where I built a radio telescope to measure the 2800 Mhz solar flux..Former member of Milwaukee Astronomical Society (moved away to darker skies), Ocassional volunteer for the Horwitz Planetarium in Waukesha WI. Astronomy merit badge counselor (remember those) for BSA.. Creating Blog site "Orion Backyard Observatory" for small aperture and beginning observers. Hope to expand offerings when I retire.
