About Milner_Post

I was born,  raised, and live in the United States, but I have moved around quite a bit.  My father was in the military, and then worked at NASA during the Apollo years, so I was raised loving science and space, and all that Jazz.  I love animals too.

Awhile back I heard on the news that an asteroid was going to make a close approach to earth. On that same day a fiery explosion happened over the skies of Russia.  I thought that was a little closer than what they were saying, but then found out that it was a different asteroid all together. It came from a different direction I guess.

Then this comet ISON was supposed to give us a show, and I thought, maybe I should start
paying attention to what's going on out there in the skies above.  Well I guess the sun swallowed up ISON as it tried to pass by, and the sun didn't even burp or bat an eye-lash.  I never saw a thing.  Yet still, it would have been nice to have seen something.  So I subscribed to Astronomy Magazine.
